I think this was the first time Lorelei met Kelsie Chambers. Since Kelsie has the curvy type of body that Lorelei likes, I knew she'd have fun tying her up. I also knew she would be able to handle the other rigors of the part: hopping around, wrestling Kelsie while they were both tied up, and so on. It was a really fun day. And we continued having fun after Kelsie left. We did a still shoot that night, and made some memorable photos which later turned out to be perfect for Lorelei's site.

HS-10  "AGENTS OF F.A.T.E."

When I look at this tape now, it sure seems like an early effort. The videography is often god-awful, the jokes are frequently too heavy-handed. But this was my first really BIG hit. It was a pretty scary proposition at the time. The cast was huge, the story (a comedy, fer cryin' out loud) was radically different than what Harmony had been releasing, and moreover, I was directing Lorelei and Star Chandler... the women who'd been teaching me everything about making videos.

It's also the very first time anyone ever saw me restraining Lorelei. I was the federal agent who handcuffed her and took her away. I was amazed to find out less than a year later how much that little scene meant to her. Of course, I'm always still astonished that she has anything to do with me at all.

WDS-1  "THE WOMAN FROM H.A.R.M.O.N.I."

Lorelei's on-screen ball-tie (done by Brian Tarsis) in this video is the one scene that everyone talks about and says is their favorite. Funny enough, it was shot after the main part of the story, as an unplanned, ad lib sort of thing. This tape was one of my three "independent" videos (produced while I was briefly laid-off from Harmony), and I mostly did the scene because I wanted to make sure the tape would be long enough. I had no clue that Lorelei really wanted to be getting tied up on video again, so I was quite happy when I later found out I 'd unconsciously helped her fulfill that wish. If I had to do over, though, I would've cut and changed angles a lot more. I wish Tarsis would have asked me to cut, because at times he got a bit lost doing the on-screen tying (as we all do), and I didn't have anything to cut away to and still maintain continuity. Subsequently, I had to leave in footage which should not have made the final edit... it was agonizing, since I knew it made Tarsis look bad, but I was stuck with it.

As usual, Lorelei's performance is outstanding; she's sort of doing a bondage-"Curly Shuffle," which was about all she could do. I hope that Lorelei was happy with the response she got from that scene, since she started appearing in front of the camera regularly after that, thank goodness.

This is probably one of my best videos. Lorelei's part was written specifically for her, and she played it to absolute perfection. I know some people really hated that scene of her rolling around in the dirt and rubber bugs when she was put in "The Hole," but I wrote that scene because I knew it was something she'd enjoy doing. If you'll notice, that's the only pure, uninterrupted bondage scene in the whole video.

HS-13  "THE REVENGE OF THE CROOKED CLAW"

This video is one of my personal favorites. It took a long time to make, but I enjoyed paying homage to Lorelei's work in the Harmony TBE series, and expanding on the character she'd created. I like having Lorelei around when I'm doing my big projects because she's the best there is, on either side of the camera. The main part of the story was shot in an old theater, and I know I couldn't have made it -- and it certainly wouldn't have turned out as well as it did -- without her help.

Her ball-tie scene had been shot months before, in the old Close-Up office. They'd moved to a new office, and we sneaked into the old one on about the last possible night to shoot that scene. Unfortunately, a lot of the footage we did can't be released until the laws change. Heheh.

HH-12  "DANGER ON HER HEELS"
60 Minutes - Oct 97

This tape features one of Lorelei's toughest ball-ties. (Do you see a pattern here?) I did it on-screen with the cameras running, but there was no way to work all that footage into the story without bogging it down. Hmm. Maybe I should still release it some day...

We shot her abduction later on in the parking lot, using a tripod on the balcony outside my office. We had a lot of fun doing that. What else can I say? I always have a good time when I'm tying her up, gagging her and putting her in my trunk.

TK-17  "TICKLED SECRETARIES" 
60 Minutes

For some reason, Lorelei (who's very ticklish) hadn't ever done a real tickling video before this, and I thought it was high time she did! This, however, was not exactly our happiest working experience together. It was all shot in my office at Harmony Gardens, and (with five people) that little room quickly got claustrophobic, hot and miserable. In my melted-brain director mode, I started giving Aaron James videography instruction after I had the models (Jewell Marceau, Devin Demoore and Lorelei) strictly tied up, which made me feel insensitive when Lorelei brought this to my attention later.

But Lorelei and the others -- who are all really ticklish -- pulled through like troupers and did a marvelous job.

HC-18  "SECRETARIES IN TROUBLE" 
60 Minutes

This tape is a series of vignettes, and includes Lorelei tying up Bobbie Tawse and then hogtying herself. But Lorelei's five-layer gag sequence (which runs through the whole tape) is really the highlight of this video. There aren't many models I would even think of for doing such an extreme gag, which is one reason why I firmly believe she's one of the best bondage models ever. She looks really sweet in the heels and the pink business suit, too.

Lorelei's scenes with Bobbie Tawse for this tape, HC-18, HC-21 and HC-22 were shot on my birthday. It was sort of a present to myself, working with two of my favorite models. I figured since I had 'em both, I'd mummy-wrap them together (guess I also did that so Oak O'Kork would be happy). Anyway, I was surprised to find out after we'd finished shooting what an intense, erotic experience that was for Bobbie. Not only was the scene physically hot, but Bobbie became very aroused, and she also had to recover from a serious endorphin rush afterwards. I think Lorelei may have been doing something to her under that plastic-wrap.

B-161  "DAMSEL-IN-DISTRESS DOUBLE FEATURE"

This was the shoot where Lorelei finally met Eve Ellis. Another model was scheduled that day, but she got stranded, and Lorelei filled in at the last minute. Of course she jumped at the opportunity to wrestle and tie up Eve... Hey, who wouldn't? I felt quite honored that Lorelei wanted me to be the one to tie her up for her scenes. Eve was amused by Lorelei's singing, and when they were tied together, Lorelei lost her balance and accidentally copped a feel. She tried to apologize through her gag, and did apologize after the scene, but apparently Eve was so caught up in the moment she didn't even notice.

HC-21  "DAMSELS BY THE DOZEN"

Lorelei looks absolutely adorable in her blue suit and heels, running around with her knees tied together through Oak O'Kork's back yard. I shot the scene twice: once from an objective point of view and again as the pursuer. I wish I could've made it go on longer, but I couldn't resist and I had to grab her.

HC-22  "QUICKIES" 
60 Minutes - Jul 98

Lorelei has a three-minute scene in this video, a seated post tie in a single-glove -- the glove laced up behind the post. The strap on the ball-gag was long enough to go all the way around the post. It was a tougher position than she thought it would be: She tried scooting down, but then realized she was stuck and had even less mobility, so all she could do was drool through the ball-gag. I used the entire scene in a bigger production, "The Search for Lorelei."

NON-BONDAGE APPEARANCES

WD-1  "REAL ESTATE RIVALS"
43 Minutes - Nov 93

Most of the time when we were working together at the Harmony studio, Lorelei would try to dress down, even though she later told me she'd rather have been dressing up for me. Anyway, this was one of the first times I saw her all dolled up, and she looked really cute in the leather miniskirt and heels. Can't say as I was too crazy about the wig. But she did a tremendous job tying up Isis Nile and Alexis Payne.

Also of note: I did this story for Lorelei, since she used to be a rental agent, and I thought she'd get a kick out of it.

WD-2  "THE DAYNE CAPER"
58 Minutes - Jun 94

Although this tape is listed as a non-bondage appearance for Lorelei, she was handcuffed by one wrist to the bed by Tatiana Varga. I remember when I was planning that sequence, I put a cuff on Lorelei's wrist and locked the other one onto that huge studio bed. Lorelei put up quite a struggle as I did that. I thought it was because she didn't like me and didn't particularly want me to do that. I didn't know it was because she was having a good time and wanted to prolong the moment by resisting as hard as she could.

WD-8  "THE WRONG WOMAN"
60 Minutes - Mar 95

Head nurse Lorelei ball-ties stocking-footed Tanja Wilder after the main story in this tape. The most memorable part of this shoot was Tanja fell over during the on-screen tie. When we were looking at the playback later, Lorelei noticed that Tanja tried to crouch on her toes instead of going flat-footed, so it wasn't too surprising she lost her balance. Tanja wasn't injured; she laughed and thought it was all quite funny.

KA-2  "THE FETISH SERVICE"
60 Minutes - Directed by Kelly Ashton - Videography by Jon Woods

This was the shoot where Lorelei met Kelly Ashton for the first time. It was, to quote, the beginning of a beautiful friendship. Because of a series of peculiar circumstances, Kelly had accidentally scheduled both Lorelei and Sadie Atkins to be in her independent video. I begged Lorelei to stay and help me shoot it, and she did so in exchange for her first still-photo shoot with Kelly.

Kelly and Lorelei hit it off so well that Kelly asked her to help with this video too. What's most notable about this tape is the incredible chemistry between these two. It almost seems more like a party than work; you can tell everyone is having a great time. Kelly is always energetic and enthusiastic, and their ad-libbed dialog in the stories is priceless.
